Rowanbank is the ideal location for you whether you just want a quiet, relaxing break or an activity-packed adventure!

Facilities in the house itself mean that you need not venture out at all, with 4 TV's, a dvd player, video players, music systems, an abundance of dvd's, videos, cd's and cassette tapes, plus a huge selection of books and magazines. There are also games and jigsaws to suit all tastes.

Children are most welcome and very well catered for but we would draw your attention to the fact that there is a burn running along the bottom of the garden, plus two open ponds, so young children will need adult supervision when playing in the garden. The back garden is not suitable for ball games as it is mainly sloping down to the burn and is open plan with the garden of the 4 star country house b&b next door.

The cottage is beautifully fitted out with many antique pieces and a large selection of paintings, mainly by Scottish artists including John Lowrie Morrison and Pam Carter. Everything is maintained and presented to the very highest standards required by the VisitScotland Quality Assurance Scheme, of which we are 5 star rated.
