Kilchrenan is a lovely rural village with a pub which serves food throughout the peak holiday seasons, a post box and a telephone box. There is also a beautiful church, two 4 star hotels, plus a newly refurbished village hall which hosts regular Scottish events.

The village of Taynuilt is only 7 miles away and has many useful shops including an extremely well stocked general store, a post office where you can arrange daily newspaper delivery, a butcher and a hairdresser to mention but a few. There is also a 3 star hotel which serves excellent food, both in its restaurant and bar, plus a lovely tea room.

Inveraray, Fort William and Oban are all within easy driving distance, as is the glorious beauty of Glencoe - a must-see sight!
